I am wondering, if i want to put charms on should i put them on after the top coat ?

I bought the Beatles home manicure set and when I put the base gel polish on it looks like oil and water. It won't lay on my nail bed like any other traditional polish would. I need advice.

I struggle with the tape either ripping some of the polish underneath off with it or some of the layer i just painted ontop it, even if i do it quick Edit: thats so weird, the first time i played this it only showed a short clip 🤷‍♀️

After covering the chrome design and curing, can you apply a regular (glossy) top coat again and cure it? If you don’t want the nail to have a matte finish?

Can you use chrome powder on regular nail polish? I don't use gel polish
